We give a second chance to animals who are in extreme pain. These are strays who are all alone with no one to care for them. We bring them to a trusted vet and fund their treatment.
Our shelter in Tanauan, Batangas takes care of over 100 rescues who are waiting for a forever home. They are fed thrice a day, cleaned, and have space to play.
We work hard to find forever homes for our rescues. SWS adopters are strictly screened to ensure that they can give our rescues a good life.
SWS's ultimate dream is a stray-free Philippines. We promote Spay and Neuter and offer low-cost options.
Every cat and dog deserves to live a long and healthy life. We advocate for responsible pet ownership through vaccinations.
It has been only two years since SWS started. The journey has been fast but it was fruitful and very meaningful. The initial plan was just to save dogs or cats one at a time. I did not expect to achieve what we did so far. Clearly, the Lord has been in control from the beginning.
Today, SWS has more than 660,000 followers and has rescued more than 1,500 dogs and cats. We have also turned into a foundation and built a shelter. Clearly, if you do something in God's name, success is imminent.
However, there are still many in need. More plans are in store to be able to help them. Massive spay and neuter programs, another shelter, and even a veterinary clinic are in the offing. I just can't wait for the time when SWS will no longer be needed, when there are no more strays, and the dogs and cats we try to fight for are all adopted. It is a long way to go, but we will keep working until we achieve our dream of a stray-free Philippines.
Last 1 June 2021, more than 60 SWS rescue dogs were transferred to their new home, the SWS Tanauan, Batangas shelter. This shelter will serve as their temporary stop prior to their eventual adoption. This short video shows the work initially placed on the shelter until the actual transfer. Please continue supporting SWS to allow us to save more lives! Please watch all our YouTube videos, along with the ads, as any earning from them will be used on this advocacy!
We had a recent spay and neuter project in Imus Cavite last May 30, 2021
